EUSA Table Tennis Championship 2023

In 2023, the European Universities Table Tennis Championship will be held in Olomouc, Czech Republic from July 3 till July 10.

The event's official venue is OMEGA Sports and Health Center located at 19 Legionarska Street, 779 00 Olomouc, Czech Republic.

TRANSPORT INFORMATION

Arrival & Departure Points:

Airport: Leos Janacek Ostrava Airport (OSR) 

Distance from airport to the registrations office: 80 km, 60 minutes

Transport from the airport to the accommodation in Olomouc will be provided free of charge by the organizer.

Train and bus station: Olomouc

Transport from the train or bus station to the accommodation in Olomouc will be provided free of charge by the organizer.

First possible arrival: two days before event

Last possible departure: two days after event

Transport from the airport to the accommodation in Olomouc is not arranged or paid by the organizer.

Airport: Vienna International Airport (Flughafen Wien-Schwechat)

Distance from airport to the registrations office: 228 km, approx. 3 – 4 hours by bus

The first option is to take a bus FlixBus. The bus stop is right in front of the airport entrance and the bus goes directly to Olomouc.

Other option is to take a bus RegioJet. The bus stop is right in front of the airport entrance. Some buses go directly to Olomouc but some of them go first to Brno and then you have to transfer to other bus RegioJet to Olomouc.

Airport: Vaclav Havel Airport Prague (Prague Ruzyně)

Distance from airport to the registrations office: 260km, approx. 3 - 4 hours (first by bus to Main Railway Station Prague and then by train to Olomouc)

The best option is to take a bus Airport Express (AE) from airport to Main Railway Station Prague. The bus departures every 20 – 30 minutes (from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) and the journey takes approx. 40 minutes.

Dormitory is well-suited for student athletes. Six-storey high-rise with two lifts and rooms arranged in suites. The dormitory have been in general reconstructed and renovated. The dormitory satisfies the conditions of hotel accommodation. At the complex there is a beach volleyball court and fields for other sports activities.

The dormitory Evžena Rošického is five minutes by walk from the OMEGA sport centre where the Championship takes place.

The catering services (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be available in Aqua Restaurant – part of OMEGA Sports and Health Centre - during the whole event for all participants.

Openining hours:

breakfast    7:00 - 9:30

lunch        12:00 - 15:00

dinner      18:00 - 20:30

Catering services will be arranged by an experienced provider NH Collection Hotel***** with referencies from different sport and business events including ITTF tournament Czech Open.

The necessary efforts will be made to attend the needs of vegetarians and other special types of meals. Teams are requested to inform us of these specifics so we can provide proper catering.

Tap water in Olomouc and elsewhere in Czech republic is perfectly safe to drink.
